King Ed co-writes and produces on Au/Ra’s debut album ‘heartcore’

Au/Ra's debut album "heartcore" is out now via Island/Polydor — and Fast Friends songwriter and producer King Ed is right at its heart, co-writing and producing two tracks: the album's title track "heartcore" and "last heart </3."

A 16-track concept record made between London and Los Angeles, heartcore follows a hero's-journey narrative as the German-Antiguan artist (real name Jamie Lou Stenzel) descends into her own mind to confront anxiety, identity and isolation across ethereal pop, hyperpop and alternative rock. King Ed sits alongside a writing and production roster that includes Micah Jasper, K.Flay and Violet Skies on Au/Ra's most ambitious release to date.
