Rocco releases lush new single “Break”
Rocco shares "Break" today, a cinematic slow-burn streaming now across all platforms. It's a song about heartache and the particular ache of being in love, and it opens the door to his next chapter.
Break is a cinematic slow-burn track that embodies the emotions of heartache and captures the pain that goes along with being in love. Written on my first go with producer Aidan Hogg and writer Jules Brave playing around with inspirations like Coldplay and The Neighbourhood. Break inserts itself sweetly into the world that I’ve built around the EP, acting as the bittersweet in-between of somber slow jams and up-beat heart stoppers.
"Break" came out of Rocco's first session with producer Aidan Hogg and writer Jules Brave, with Coldplay and The Neighbourhood in the air as touchstones. It sits in the bittersweet middle of the world he's building, the space between the somber slow jams and the upbeat heart-stoppers.
The release arrives with an official visualizer from yondoby, Rocco's longtime creative director, who continues to shape the visual world around his music.
