As a result of Marshmello's recent departure from EDM to a more pop-heavy focus, he has now teamed up with the Jonas Brothers for the release of their 80s-style track "Leave Before You Love Me" - co-written by Will Vaughan alongside fellow British hit-makers Nick "Digital Farm Animals" Gale, Phil Plested, Rick Boardman and Pablo Bowman. The track depicts the idea of running away from a relationship before it gets too serious and the internal struggle that comes along with it.
The best genre-crossing collaborations feel natural, and this is evidence of just that.
