Garnering over 650 million streams since his debut 2 years ago, vaultboy has returned with a heartbreaking new single 'everything hits me at once'. The song, co-written by Sarah Barrios, talks of the defence mechanism people use when going through a breakup by pretending to be okay, when in reality they are deeply hurt. It discusses that by not dealing with his feelings and putting on a brave face this only leads to everything hitting him at once in the future.
