Rising Australian artist, Blake Rose has returned with his first new single of 2023, “Use Me” today. The track is the latest to be taken from his forthcoming EP, You’ll Get It When You’re Olderset for release via AWAL Recordings on February 24th.
Tiggs has co-wrote the song with both Blake and frequent collaborator Ross Golan.
About the record Blake says:
“On the surface level, ‘Use Me’ is about being attracted to somebody and lust creeping into the point where you would let this person do anything to you. You’re so obsessed you don’t care. However, upon a closer look, one might realize the song is actually about addiction, resembling the relationship between a drug and its abuser. The substance is personified.”
