The song, backed by a visual lyric video shot in a school classroom, offers an uneasy yet humorous dichotomy between delicate ukulele chords and piercing lyrics. With a confidence to be in awe of, Barrios holds nothing back in the track, made even more amusing with the Disney-style animations used throughout the lyric video. Barrios brings the listener back to the depth of emotion in the song however with lines such as 'sometimes you just get tired of being the bigger person and you let your intrusive thoughts win' , reminding the listener what the true meaning of the song is about.
