'Where I Belong' is the brand new collaborative single from Manovski & Jay Pryor.
This feel good house cut richly builds over Amber Van Day’s melodic and alluring vocals, adding an anthemic piano riff, as it crescendos into a beat made for the sunshine.
Released on Insanity Records / Sony Music UK, ‘'Where I Belong’ is upbeat and high energy – it’s the perfect antidote to troubling times, cementing both artists as forces to be reckoned with in the world of house music.
Jay says of the collab:
“Manovski approached me with this idea initially, asking to collaborate on it. I thought it was a great song from the moment I heard that initial version and I could relate to the feeling the song captures. We got in the studio together a couple of weeks later and worked on the song all day into the evening (lots of coffee!), bouncing ideas back and forth. It felt really natural and fun, like a real moment that resulted in the version you hear now. Honestly this record would be nothing but pixie dust without Manovski and Sam Gray together with Amber's awe-inspiring vocal talent. I just did my thing, added my vibe, it's all down to those guys for creating something from nothing in the first place and I'm grateful to have been brought in to add my part to that.”
“I heard Jay's work on Spotify and upon digging deeper I knew he could bring the missing piece to the song. Collaborating in the studio with Jay was so fun, he came in with so many fresh ideas that could have all easily made the final cut! We basically spent the day laughing and throwing around different sounds and musical ideas until we landed on one that we both felt was perfect for the song. Amber Van Day’s incredible vocals really tied everything together - I hope everyone loves the track as much as we loved making it!”
The song has already received support from all streaming platforms, including features on Spotify's New Music Friday UK, New Dance Revolution, Dance Brandneu, Friday Cratediggers and Beats of Tomorrow, as well as being played on BBC Radio 1's Dance Anthems.
