Rocco returns with “Someone I Never Had”, an angsty pop-rock anthem that kicks off the final chapter of his two-part “A Comedy Romantic” project. Arriving as Episode 7 of the short-form series he has been rolling out across his socials, it lands with an official music video co-directed by Rocco George and Brandon Kim.

“Someone I Never Had” is an angsty pop-rock anthem with a chorus that explodes into an introspective self-confessional. Why do you miss someone that was never really yours? Why is this person part of everything you do, when there was nothing exclusive between both parties? “Someone I Never Had” is the emotional anchor and kicks off the final chapter of Rocco’s story.

— Rocco

The track was written with songwriter Micah Premanth and producer Jason Suwito, and follows “A Comedy Romantic (Act. 1)”, the EP that opened the era in July. Out now via BMG on all platforms.
