King Ed co-writes ‘Hate to Hurt You’ by Pale Waves

Fast Friends' King Ed picks up a co-write on "Hate to Hurt You" by Pale Waves — a track from the Manchester band's fourth album "Smitten," out now via Dirty Hit. King Ed wrote the song alongside Benjamin Francis Leftwich and the band.

Led by Heather Baron-Gracie, Pale Waves have built a devoted following on their hook-driven blend of pop, indie and pop-punk, and "Hate to Hurt You" leans into the glossy, heart-on-sleeve songwriting that's become their signature. It's another co-write for the Fast Friends writer-producer.
