The track combines gritty pop-rock energy with unapologetic lyrics and big hooks, with GXL’s production bringing sharp clarity and punch to the arrangement. The track follows on from GXL and McCarthy's earlier collaboration on "Hurting My Own Feelings".

From programmed drums to crisp vocal layering, the production captures both the attitude of the song and McCarthy’s vocal power — giving listeners the feeling of being right in the room.
