grentperez releases his ‘g00se’ EP

grentperez releases "g00se" today on Fast Friends, the five-track EP the Western Sydney singer-songwriter has spent the year building toward across "boy that's loving you," "sailing," "after all" and "satellite." Produced throughout by long-time collaborator Gladius, it arrives on digital, CD and vinyl, and closes the rollout with new song "always."

Written by grentperez with James Wong and released alongside an official visualiser, "always" is the EP's most searching moment, a song about the noise of trying to work out what it means to be here at all.

"Always is a song of questioning, to try and understand ones self, their purpose, the blessings and curses of living and having thoughts, to ask 'who put us here?'. To me this song is a musical interpretation of my continuous overthinking. I needed this song to exist because I had such a hard time understanding what it meant to 'be'; be myself or be in the moment. The song is very reflective, but in a way, the fact that we have the ability to reflect is so crazy. Anyways, enough tangents." - grentperez
