
Sarah Barrios is an artist, songwriter and content creators from Connecticut who moved to LA in pursuit of her dream to launch a career in entertainment.
A proud reading enthusiast, her songwriting approach is akin to that of writing a novel. Weaving together stories with raw human emotion, Sarah wins her audience at first listen with a textured experience of imagery and colour. Influenced by a diverse spectrum ranging from Jane Austen to Sci-Fi books, The Beatles and Fleetwood Mac to Jon Bellion and Paramore, Sarah’s music evokes both nostalgia and anticipation for the future.
Growing up in the small town of Torrington, Connecticut with her parents and two younger brothers, Sarah’s childhood revolved around music. Her parents played in bands together and encouraged family jam sessions and jazz nights at home.
As a songwriter, Sarah's songs have been released by artists including Eric Nam, vaultboy, ALex AIono, Nessa Barrett, Maggie Lindemann, R3hab and Kungs. Sarah is also part of Halloween band LVCRFT who's music is featured in films and TV shows including Hocus Pocus 2, Hubie Halloween, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Chucky and Dancing With The Stars.
Since Sarahs debut single as an artist in 2020, Sarah released three EPs which showcase her evolution from a pop artist on her earlier releases towards her moreo recent releases which lean heavily into Sarah's pop-punk roots.
As a live performer Sarah has played at Lollapalooza, Governors Ball and Summerfest as well as supporting Christian French on tour.
Earlier this year, Sarah signed a deal with Fast Friends and Seeker to launch a brand new artist project under the alias girl on a a hill. The projects's debut single amelia was released in April 2025.
