// ABOUT PAUL WHITE

Paul White is a London-born producer, writer and multi-instrumentalist whose work has quietly shaped some of the most adventurous records in modern hip-hop and alternative music. A graduate of the BRIT School, he first made his name as an artist releasing his debut album The Strange Dreams of Paul White in 2009 before an acclaimed run of solo records including Shaker Notes (2014), Rejuvenate (2018) and his most recent LP, Peace In Chaos (2024). He is also one half of the duo Golden Rules alongside Eric Biddines, whose 2015 album Golden Ticket featured a guest turn from Yasiin Bey (Mos Def).

These days Paul's focus sits increasingly behind the boards. He is one of Danny Brown's most trusted collaborators, with credits across XXX, Old, U Know What I'm Sayin? and Atrocity Exhibition — the last of which he produced almost in its entirety, a genre-warping body of work widely hailed as one of the decade's defining rap albums. His 2016 collaborative album with Open Mike Eagle, Hella Personal Film Festival, was named one of Rolling Stone's best rap records of the year.

Beyond that, Paul has co-written and produced for a strikingly broad cast of artists including Sudan Archives, Obongjayar, Empara Mi, FLOHIO, Charli XCX, Homeboy Sandman, Jamie Woon, Jehst, Karma Kid, Baxter Dury, Jadu Heart, Tex, Låpsley, Jessica Winter, Connie Constance and Azekel.
